Document Manager Data Deletion Instructions

Document Manager does not store user accounts or documents on CK Apps Factory’s own servers. However, FTP connection information and temporary copies of files opened from a user-added FTP storage may be stored on the device.

1. Delete App Data

Open the following path in Android Settings:

Apps > Document Manager > Storage & cache > Clear storage

You may also uninstall the app.

This removes the following app-local data:

  • Document indexes
  • Recent-document and favorite information
  • Thumbnails and preview information
  • Reading status and app settings
  • FTP storage connection profiles
  • Remembered FTP passwords
  • Temporary shared images and FTP downloads
Deleted app data cannot be recovered.

2. Original Documents and FTP Files

Clearing app data or uninstalling the app does not delete original documents stored on the device, an SD card, or an FTP server.

Documents and folders explicitly deleted by the user through the document management screen may be permanently removed from the selected storage and cannot be restored by the app.

3. Delete Shared Images

If an image has been shared to a messaging app, email service, cloud storage, or another app, the copy stored there must be deleted directly through that service.

Temporary shared images remaining in the app cache can be removed by clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or clearing the app cache through Android Settings.

4. Delete FTP Storage Information

Saved FTP connections can be individually edited or deleted from the app’s Storage screen.

Deleting an FTP connection removes its profile and remembered password from the app. It does not affect files stored on the FTP server.

5. Revoke Storage Permissions

You can revoke the following permissions through Android Settings:

  • All-files access
  • File and media access
  • Folder or storage access granted through the Android system file picker
The exact settings path and labels may vary depending on the Android version.

6. Advertising and Analytics Data

Clearing app data does not delete data already processed by Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google Play.

Advertising identifiers, analytics information, crash diagnostics, and purchase information must be managed through Google’s privacy settings and the policies of the respective services.

7. Account Deletion

Document Manager does not provide user accounts, registration, or login features. Therefore, there is no account to delete within the app.
